Growth is declining due to political and social violence

The square of the National Economic Council (NEC) conference on Thursday, local consultant group , made the remark during a meeting with the chief guest. The meeting was held on the implementation of the Seventh Five-Year Plan.
He said, "political instability 1 percent growth and social violence (corruption) is not due to growth of 3 per cent."
As a special guest at the meeting was also attended Finance and Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal and MA Mannan.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the donor.
