In 1940, the Nobel Prize-winning economist, was born in the village Hathazari upazila of Chittagong district. His father, Haji Mia swing merchant, and his mother's name Sufia Khatun. He has the father of two daughters. Dr. Yunus and his Grameen Bank were jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 0206. He was the first Bangladeshi to win this award. Dr.Yunus Including the World Food Prize, Yunus has received national and international awards.
