George Mullen, said city police chief, Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church on Wednesday evening, a white gunman attacked. Eight people were killed inside the church. One later died.
Police are trying to catch the gunman White.
M. Mullen described it as shocking and disgusting crime.
He told reporters, eight bodies were found inside the church. Two of the injured died on the way to hospital.
