According to an NDTV report, Sourav Ganguly has agreed to become Team India's High Performance Manager. It is understood that Ganguly has been told to prepare a blueprint on how India's performance abroad can be improved, in light of disappointing results at England and Australia in the past year.
BCCI has also reportedly approached Tendulkar to take charge of revamping the National Cricket Academy into a center for producing talented youngsters. This is in keeping with recent reports on BCCI's proposed tie-up with Cricket Australia to turn the NCA into a high-performance center. Sachin is reportedly waiting on more clarity of the role before agreeing to take it up.
Meanwhile, Rahul Dravid has been requested to take up the role of talent development under the revamped structure. It is understood that he is waiting for the end of the IPL season before agreeing to take up the role. He is expected to work closely with the Under-19 team and other NCA recruits.
