Share price indices at the country’s both bourses --- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed positive trend in early hours of trading on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.



DSE, the Broad Index of the DSE, gained by 33.53 points or 0.77 per cent to 4360.14 after the first two-hour of trade at 12:12pm. 

Trade deals stood at 71136 with volume of transactions at Tk 3059.17 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 173 advanced, 97 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
WMSHIPYARD was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 46.47 million changing hands till then followed by BSCCL, UPGDCL, NBL, BEXIMCO and IFADAUTOS. 

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed downward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 62.07points to 8199.29, also at 12:06 pm. 

Of the issues traded till then, 117 gained, 74 declined and 11 remained unchanged.
