The 18th 1st Division Kabaddi League will begin on Sunday (May 17) at the Kabaddi Stadium in the city.
A total of 12 clubs will compete in the eight-day meet, oragnised by Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation. The top two teams will be promoted to the next year's premier division league while one bottom-ranked team will be relegated to the second division, reports BSS.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Tuesday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium conference room to give all the details of the meet.
The participating teams are Faruk Smrity Kabaddi team, Abarchin KC, Mancity Club, Singna Sangha, Maniknagar Unnoyan Samity, Sornali Sangsad, Institute of Kabaddi, Moulovi Surujjaman Smrity Sangsad, Satrouja Nabin Sangha, Star Sports, Matuail Milon Smrity Sangsad and Shishu Kishor Sangha.
