Missing BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed is alive, Channel 24 reports quoting his wife Hasina Ahmed.
"I talked to him (Salahuddin) over telephone," Hasina Ahmed confirmed media after meeting with BNP chief Khaleda Zia on Tuesday.
He is staying somewhere in India, she added.
A press briefing would be held at Salahuddin’s Gulshan residence this afternoon, she added.
A joint secretary general of BNP, Salahuddin was allegedly picked up by plainclothes officials from a house in Uttara on March 10, according to his family members. The law enforcers however denied picking him up.
