With the initiative of Jamuna Bank Foundation, a seminar on banking service and significant of corporate social responsibility was held at the IDEB Bhaban in the capital city on Saturday, says a press release.
A voluntary blood donation programme was also arrsnged.
Md Sirajul Islam Varosha, chairman of Jamuna Bank Limited, inaugurated the programmes as the chief guest.
Al-Haj Nur Mohammed, chairman of Jamuna Bank Foundation, presided over the ceremony.
Directors of the bank, Md Atiqur Rahman and Kanutosh Majumder, and the chairman of the audit committee, Md Rafiqul Islam, were present as special guests.
Shafiqul Alam, managing director of the bank, attended as the guest of honour.
Ninety-two employees of the bank donated blood at the programme.
