BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Friday congratulated David Cameron as he has returned to Downing Street with the Tories having defied polls and won the general elections held on Thursday.
BNP Standing Committee member Dr. Abdul Moin Khan and chairperson's adviser Sabihuddin Ahmed went to the British High Commissioner's office at Dhaka to convey Khaleda Zia’s felicitation message to David Cameron, said Shayrul Kabir Khan, media wing officer to BNP chairperson.
The Conservatives made gains in England and Wales and secured 331 seats in the Commons, giving them a slender majority.
