Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained two Indian nationals on Benapole-Putkhali road Wednesday night for intruding into Bangladesh territory.
The deceased were identified as Saddam Gazi, 24, son of Sieajul Islam of Rabeswarpur Khoroy village under Hasnabad Upazila of North 24 Parganas district and Meratunnahar, 19, daughter of Shafiur Rahman of Jadobpur Upazila of the same district.
BGB handed over them to Benapole Port Thana police.
Subedar Samsur Rahman of BGB 23 Battalion confirmed the matter .
