A Gazipur court there on Wednesday placed the Gazipur City Corporation mayor and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia`s adviser M A Mannan on a one-day fresh remand.
In arson attacks and vandalism case, Gazipur Senior Judicial Magistrate Court remanded him, after a hearing, in this regard, on the day.
M A Mannan has been placed in remands in separate times in connection with the vandalism case.
On February 12, the court also placed the Gazipur City Corporation mayor on a two-day remand in the case.
Earlier on February 11, law enforcers detained Gazipur City Corporation mayor and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia`s adviser M A Mannan from the city.
