Newly elected mayor of North City Corporation (DNCC) Anisul Haque joined his office today and sought assistance of all.
The mayor went to his office around 12:00pm, just two hours later of taking oath as a mayor.
Meanwhile, he reminded his promised words during electoral campaign and sought assistance of all.
The staff of Dhaka North City Corporation welcomed him with floral wreath. Later, the labour organizations of DNCC step by step greeted the new mayor.
Anisul Haque urged all the staff of DNCC to work sincerely to make the city corporation as social organization soon.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina administered the oath to the three newly elected mayors of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and Chittagong City Corporation (CCC), while LGRD Minister Syed Ashraful Islam administered the oath to the newly elected councillors of the cities.
On April 30, the Election Commission officially declared Annisul Huq, Sayeed Khokon and AJM Nasir as the elected mayors of DNCC, DSCC and CCC respectively by publishing gazettes.
