Bangladesh left arm spinner Taijul Islam claimed six wickets to restrict Pakistan’s first innings to 628 in the Day 4 of first Test between the two countries at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on Friday.
Pakistan yet led by 296 runs in the first innings as earlier Bangladesh were all out for 332.
The visitors started the Day four on Friday with 537/5 and added only 91 runs with rest of the wickets.
Asad Shafiq and Sarfraz Ahmed both were unbeaten on 51 in the previous day, missed centuries and were out at 83 and 82 respectively.
Taijul bowled 46.4 overs and claimed 6 wickets for 163 runs. Shuvagata Hom got 2 wickets for 120 while debutant pacer Mohammad Shahid and country’s ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan bagged one wicket each.
