Adarsha Dhaka Andolan, a platform of pro-BNP and Jamaat professionals, on Wednesday demanded to cancel the recently held city polls alleging, `fraudulences were happened in the polls`.
The leaders of Adarsha Dhaka Andolan came up with the call while addressing a press conference in the capital, this afternoon.
The member secretary of the organisation Showkat Mahmud, have read out the text in the conference.
The press conference was organised a day after the election was held.
"It is a great shame for the country`s history,` the press conference was also told.
The speakers in the conference also slammed the authorities concerned, election commission, government and law enforcement agencies citing much fraudulence in the election.
They also demanded the resignation of all officials of the election commission.
Prof Emajuddin Ahmed, convener of Adarsha Dhaka Andolan, also spoke in the programme.
Earlier on Tuesday noon, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) boycotted the polls in three city corporations terming it a meaningless election.
