Government has discouraged Bangladesh nationals to undertake any visit to Nepal for touristic purposes until the situation there becomes normal.
Following the recent devastating earthquake in Nepal, Foreign ministry issued a press release in the regard on Wednesday.
Earlier on April 25, a 7.9 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal, parts of India and Bangladesh. Its epicenter was approximately 34 km (21 mi) east-southeast of Lamjung, Nepal, and its hypocenter was at a depth of approximately 15 km.
The death toll in the Nepal earthquake has reached 5057, reported the official Twitter handle of National Emergency Operation Centre, Nepal.
The toll in could reach 10,000, said Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Tuesday, ordering intensified rescue efforts and appealing for foreign supplies of tents and medicines.
