Government has taken a project of constructing 490 stadiums in 489 upazilla for the development of sports in the country .
On Tuesday at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the district to the stadium early infrastructure, a project of tk.123,1800000 initially approved.
After the meeting, the former president of the ICC and the current government's Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal told the media, "they will see the stadium. There will be dressing room,washroom , some people will be able to see the game by sitting. "
He also said, "The same mini-stadium for football, cricket and hockey game will be held. It will not be used for school and college courses. The game will be the only game in the fields. "
This meeting was attended by Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, Shipping Minister Shahajhan Khan.
